Who we are
Sharyk ("we") is an AI cofounder for founders in Oman and the GCC. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights under Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022, "PDPL").
What we collect
Your email (for sign-in); the business-profile answers you give in onboarding; your chat threads with the cofounders; memory notes you save; and the artifacts we generate for you. We do not ask for national IDs or payment card data.
Why (legal basis)
To create and run your account and provide the features you request, on the basis of your consent (given at sign-up) and the contract to provide the service. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Processors
We use Supabase (database, authentication; data hosted in Singapore/ap-southeast-1) and Vercel (hosting). AI features are served by one of the following model providers, depending on availability: Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek, or the Vercel AI Gateway. They process data on our behalf under their own terms; we share only what the feature needs.
The business dataset
Where we reference public commercial-registry information, we use aggregate, non-personal statistics only. We do not ingest third parties’ names, emails, or phone numbers, and we do not use such data for outreach or account creation.
Your rights
You can access and export all your data (Account → Export), and delete your account and all associated data at any time (Account → Delete), deletion cascades across your profile, chats, memories, and artifacts. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your rows are removed. Backups, if any, age out on the processor’s schedule.
